Margaret and Pat’s Early Spring Mountain Vista Wedding at Mountaintop Resort in Chittenden, Vermont

A big thanks to my dear friend Em of PogoPhoto who spent the day with me as my second shooter and to my film lab, Phototec Inc, for the super fast turnaround and beautiful scans

Margaret and Pat’s wedding featured all the weather that April can throw at us- rain, sun, wind, and even snow! Snowflakes showered Margaret and Pat’s guests during the ceremony and coated the ground later in the evening once everyone was warm and cozy on the dance floor. For a couple that loves their winter sports, the weather was a perfect nod to the ice and snow that makes skiing and hockey possible.

Margaret and Pat are two kind, goofy people who put their full trust in their vendors- giving them free reign to do what they do best. From the green and gold wonderland in the event barn crafted by Nectar & Root to the pitch-perfect tunes of Young Love and the Thrills, it was a treat to watch everyone’s talents shine as Margaret and Pat partied the night away with all their favorite people.

A favorite part of the night was watching Margaret’s Grandmother- who was unable to attend but instead was streaming the entire day via phone- who enthusiastically watched the entire day as her family members and other guests came to the phone and said hello. It was such a lovely way to include a beloved family member, and she even dressed up for the occasion!
