Taylor and Nick’s Wildflower Inspired Wedding Weekend at Lake Mansfield Trout Club, Edson Hill, and Trapp Family Lodge

Taylor has always had a big piece of her heart in Vermont, which is why a weekend celebrating both her marriage to Nick and her favorite parts of Stowe, where her grandmother lives and where she and Nick often visit made perfect sense when planning her wedding. The places she and Nick chose to celebrate this past weekend happened to also be the prettiest spots in the state (in my opinion), and it was an absolute delight capturing both the beauty and the joy present in every inch of their wedding weekend.

Taylor and Nick are two of the sweetest people I’m working with this year, and both major cheerleaders of my work, so it was no surprise hearing their friends and family regale the rehearsal dinner crowd with tales of their genuine care for each and every one of the people close to them. In the planning process they decisive and direct without being rude, and were able to effortlessly honor everyone in their lives over the weekend.

There were so many memorable moments over the weekend, from watching Taylor’s brother attempt standing on the log at the Lake Mansfield Trout Club, to the most delicious ice cream served at the welcome party at Edson Hill, to Taylor and Nick’s little blue getaway convertible with umbrellas to ward off the rain, to Nick’s dad’s band rocking through the night and bringing Taylor and Nick up on stage to dance!

A special thanks to everyone who put their heart and soul into Taylor and Nick’s wedding, with a special shout out to True Event, Allison and Meg at Edson Hill, the staff at Trapp Family Lodge, my talented friend Erin of Nectar and Root (who transformed two days into a wildflower wonderland with 100% of flowers locally sourced), and the incredibly talented members of The Hudson Project.
