Maddy and Brendan’s Idyllic Country Inn Wedding at the Tillerman in Bristol, Vermont

After crisscrossing both coasts for years, Maddy and Brendan have found themselves in each others’ arms, in Vermont. They’ve carved out community-centered, local jobs in our beautiful state, and have settled into a beautiful home in Burlington. Their wedding was a celebration of their life in Vermont as equally as it was a time to reflect on the unique love they have kindled together. What better a place to celebrate the Green Mountain State’s good food, drink, and countryside as The Tillerman, a restaurant/inn that boasts wood fired cooking, good music, and great company.

Maddy’s sister, Kate, gave one of the most beautiful ceremony speeches I’ve had the pleasure of hearing, detailing the facets of Maddy and Brendan’s relationship and letting each person in attendance fall even more deeply in love with the sweet couple. Afterwards, the ultra talented members of The Grift filled cocktail hour with the joyful notes of bluegrass music as guests climbed into a vintage Volkswagen Bus to take photos. After the most delicious wood-fired dinner, everyone moved into the barn to dance the rest of the night!
