Alyssa and Sam’s Etherial Forest Wedding at the Inn at Weathersfield in Perkinsville, Vermont

With historic summer rains to Vermont also bring the greenest late July I’ve ever seen, which put the famed ferns at the Inn at Weathersfield in their lushest glory for Alyssa and Sam’s wedding this past Saturday. These two humble, caring people brought their most important people up to Vermont with them to spend the weekend at the cozy Inn tucked in the woods. While they’ll be partying with a larger crowd back home in Connecticut in September, they chose their summer wedding date as a time to get quality time with their immediate family and closest friends, who were absolutely lovely to photograph and work with.

Besides the golden light present throughout the day, which I welcomed back with open arms, I loved watching Alyssa and her dad dance together- which they had taken several dance lessons to prepare for! I also loved capturing the joyful presence of the team of nieces and nephews who wove their way throughout the celebrations in the best way possible.
